Avalanche observed and obvious behind DOT station and loveland slope. 2,700feeet W/SW aspect. Wetslab with crown 5 feet deep and 50 meters wide. Avalanche runs down to the ground. WS-N-R2-D2-G

A Wetslab avalanche off the South West aspect of Moonlight. Debris field pushes well across the flat section of the lower saddle. Avalanche seems to be a natural trigger/cause. WS-Nu-R2.5-D2-1 (SW aspect at 3,700FT, Crown is 5 feet down and 75 meters wide.)

Haines local killed in avalanche while snowboarding

Details of the Incident: A call to Haines Police was received at 12:44pm reporting an avalanche burial of a 34-year-old male.
