General Observations

Transitional Zone.  Few clouds to clear skies. 25F and calm winds.  2800’/North/20 degree slope.  Noteworthy- 1-2mm Surface Hoar on top of 8-16” of moderate dry power.  Pit showed poor structure, low energy and high strength.  ECTN22.  Layers of concern – 2 melt freeze layers surrounded by facets in top 3’.  1’ of moist melt forms(from Dec 1/2 event) mid pack.  Rounding basal facets on the ground.
