General Observations

Clouds broke for a couple hrs Thursday am.  Obs from drive 26-border along HNS hwy (Transitional zone).  Observed numerous natural avalanches.  Note, accuracy is low due to new snow covering crowns.  Assumed most avalanches release during “atmospheric river” event peak 12/1.  Sizes ranged R2-R4 and  D2-D4.  Notable naturals –  D4 SE face into start of Jarvis.  R2-D3 to the ground SE face Glacier creek valley.  R4-D3 NE lower Mahogany ridge (Flower Mt area).  R2-D2 N face to rocks/ground? Old Faithful.  Start zones elevations estimated 3.5 -4.5K.  A couple wet loose/dirty point release streaks that did not entrain surrounding snow or trigger slabs initiating around 4K (N toe of Glacier creek and N face behind Old Faithful)
