General Observations

Ski tour up from 5 mile creek.  Overcast, light winds out of south.  Temps just below freezing @ 2000'.  Hot pow with ski pen around 15cm.  Pit on West aspect, 30 degree slope.  125cm snow depth.  Very poor structure in top 75cm of pack.  Multiple crust/facet layers under 30 cm of new, moist snow.  No propagation with ECT but did on PST 40/100 END down 50cm on 2mm rounding facets.  Also noted large 2-3mm depth hoar at base of pack.
