General Observations

Transitional zone.  Flower ridge.  High temp 37F. Surface conditions mix of hot and cold pow depending on aspect and exposure.  No signs of instability.  Dug a pit (2200’/North) looking for MLK crust.  It was down around 3’.  Was not very pronounced. Propagating saw test showed no results of failure of the weak layer, no propagation.  (Note.  As shown in picture, used my track from sled to open snow at pit.  A unconventional technique.  One could say pit could give false positive results if sled already collapsed weak layer)
