General Observations
Transitional zone. Upper sunshine road zone +- 1800’. Temps hovering around 32F. Moderate to strong S-SE winds. Moderate snow fall with 6” + new snow and counting.
Found signs of instability. Pictures show shooting cracks and a small slab triggered by sled on a slope around 30 degrees. Noted is this is the first slab I ever scene triggered by a sled in the sunshine/Walker lake zone. Investigation showed the new snow over last weeks is still not bonding strongly to MLK rain crust.
