General Observations
Ski tour at 6 mile/girlfriend hills. Dug a pit at 2000' W/NW at knob where you drop in. Found 2 layers of concern. Buried surface hoar down 55cm( little less than 2') from surface. ECTP 13 and PST 40/100 End. Bottom line…YES, it failed and propagated with moderate force. Other layer was down 155cm (5') crust/facet. ECTX but it did propagate when I drop kicked the shovel blade. Then PST 40/100 End. Again…. YES, it propagated. Main question is how widespreed or isolated is that SH layer. As for the deeper layer, low probability with high consequences.
