General Observations
Transitional zone. Lower and mid meadows around flower (up to 2500’) and out the Tsirku/Takhin river. Friends report numerous low angle/below 1500’ natural avalanches out the Tsirku/Takhin river confluence yesterday. Today took the sleds around flower today. No natural activity. But poor structure (weak layer/facets over a firm bed surface). New snow is unconsolidated/lack of slab for now. A conservative and vigilant approach to terrain selection is key. Just because the stability seems good at the time, does not mean it is. Especially with a big/wet storm inbound this weekend.
