General Observations

Transitional Zone.  Just after digging my stuck sled out, I used the hole already opened and looked at the snowpack.  Found the layers of concern.  Buried surface hoar down about a foot and the facets (down around 3’) from the outflow event back in December.   Surprisingly the SH layer did not show easy propagation ( in just this pit, small data point).  However, the deeper layer did test for easy potential for propagation with a 30/100 arrest propagating saw test.
