General Observations

Little Girls/Bald Boy 1:30-4:30pm Good visibility, no precip, calm, 29F.  No new avalanche activity seen.

Just above 4000' we dug on a SE aspect to gain baseline snowpack info. Average height of snow ~215cm. 20cm of settled fist-four finger storm snow. We found good structure with no reactive weak layers. ECTX. Old storm interfaces were present at 90 and 130cm down with some rounded facets. Channelled south wind during the Dec.5-7 storm scoured back to an old crust on hilltops, left scalloped texture, and crossloaded windlips with pockets of pencil hard windslab to 60cm thick that didn't want to move.

Below 3000' there was a breakable surface crust.
