General Observations

We observed 3 avalanches on the pass.  One D2 on S side of Loveland, A D3 on the East face of Saphire, and a D2 on the North face of Odessey.  There was widespread wind affected snow on Thompson pass and we believe these slide were all wind slabs.  We toured up Loveland ridge.  On N-NW aspects we saw wind loaded terrain and got consistent failure in our compression tests, CTE Failure 25-30cm down.  The SE windward aspects varied greatly, see attached photo
