General Observations

Two of us snowmachined up to just below first-aid, and ski toured up the ridge line on Saturday the 26th, the weather was sunny, around 15F and there was little to no wind. The snow was covered in a hard crust, and heavily wind scoured on southern aspects, in some spots exposing the ground. Northern aspects looked softer but still had an icy crust on the surface. We also observed the debris from a medium sized avalanche on a north east face that appeared to be a windslab release.
