General Observations
Took a snow machine in Red Rock Canyon Road and up the Canwell Glacier moraine/mine road. No evidence of new snow of winds since the last group a week before. Their tracks were still quite crisp. We stopped a mile in on the mine road and skinned from there. We saw no red flags, despite strong evidence of wind from the last storm cycle. We climbed a ridge over looking Rainbow/Look Eyrie Basin. We found pockets of fluffy snow that had evidence of surface hoar as well as pockets of boiler plate crust. It appeared the major wind went UP the glacier valley the week prior.
