General Observations

We were curious on how the last storm cycle was bonding over the buried surface hoar on NW-NE aspects above 3,000ft. We decided to skin up to Crudbusters taking a non-traditional approach to get to representative slopes unaffected by skiers. We dug a pit down 120cm at 3,458ft(1054m) on a NW aspect. Results were CT17 Q1, ECTN21, PST90/100(End) all down 30cm on the new snow / buried surface hoar interface.
