General Observations

Lutak Zone: Dug a pit for depth 128cm at ~2,400′ on NE aspect 30cm of new snow on a thin crust that supports skis, with ski pen 30cm and boot pen 90cm which drops down to another supportive rain crust. Snowpack was overall saturated and rounding. At the ground were hard frozen melt forms. Didn’t perform any stability tests, stayed away from steep wide open slopes with all the new snow.
