General Observations
Lutak Zone: above 2,500′ light snow 1-2″/light SW wind/temps 27F.
Old snow was 1-2mm weak sugary facets which may become a persistent weak layer once buried under new snow.
Helpful to look at the underlying terrain features to identify where/how an avalanche problem could form.
Bottom Line: Enough snow to ride = enough snow to slide.
