General Observations

Lutak Zone: 12" of new snow, winds above treeline were moderate gusting strong from the N-NE, visible wind loading on S-SW aspects, building a touchy wind slab and cornices. Travel was good on windward slopes where there was rime and sastrugi to avoid the fresh wind slab. Temperatures stayed in the 5-10F range with strong sunshine all day. N-aspects from 3,500'-2,500' were packed powder 2,500'-500' were soft powder.
