General Observations

Transitional Zone: 2500’/SE-Aspect/Clear /Calm/14F/HS 205cm. Observed 2-5mm surface hoar over 10cm of soft powder on a hard crust everywhere. Next snowfall over this setup will be touchy. With any new snow small slopes, ravines and terrain traps could slide and pile up quickly. Near treeline areas of punchy wind slab under the soft surface conditions. Triggered a whoomph over a hard wind slab on a test slope at a convexity.
