General Observations
Observed multiple natural avalanches driving over the pass to town. Slides were at similar elevations, on different aspects. They all looked around the same depth 1-3′ and size D2+. Due to the fairly wide propagation and where they’re located below terrain features, my best guess is that these ran more recently on buried surface hoar from Jan. 20th.
- Glave Peak – North aspect 5,000ft
- Rainy Hallow – Northeast aspect 4,500ft
- Four Winds – Southwest aspect 4,500ft
- Takshanuks – Southwest aspect 4,000ft
