General Observations

Lutak Zone: 2600’/N-Aspect/Broken/Calm/27F. Found 30cm of wind slab near-treeline that was less noticeable where scouring from the 3/21-22 wind occurred. Able to pull a shear off over the old snow layer with quick hand pits and locate it with ski pole probe. Avoided steep loaded convexities. Overall surface conditions were soft with supportable snow underneath. Drier deposits higher up above 1700′ and more like corn snow below that. Sun came out from behind the clouds later in the day.
