General Observations

Transitional Zone: Below 1,000′ HS 180cm at 38-mile temps 32F calm snow in the afternoon. Skinned around in the forest and packed heavy snow down on a road to ski. Surface was saturated with round below down 60cm. Some shedding from the trees, but didn’t see roller ball activity. Anywhere steep and open enough to make real turns, was probably ripe to trigger a slide in the surface snow.
