General Observations

Loose wet avalanche D3 just past mile post 21 heading north on the Haines Hwy. 

I had observed this path on Dec 9th 2020 while flying the valley looking for significant avalanches. In the arial photo (attached) you can see the Dec 9th avalanche almost hit the highway. DOT was alerted. 

This recent D3 hit the highway on Jan 15th. See pickup truck photo.

I have informed DOT and the Borough. Now that a new track is in place I would suspect more avalanches or landslides to come down with significant rain or snowfall.
