General Observations
Natural wind slab avalanche a few days old at 2,600' NW aspect 35-40 degree slope. Depth estimated up to 1' width 150' and ran 400'. At and above treeline on nearly all aspects was some evidence of wind effect. What's interesting is that this slide from earlier this week was on a windward slope, think cross loading. Look at how the underlying terrain (rocks, trees, cliffs) helped build an unsupported slab.
