4/15 Cracked Ice up to 6200′- W-N aspects, Overcast becoming partly cloudy. occasional snow.

Collapsing: No

Shooting cracks: No

Avalanches:  Small wet loose activity on steep low elevation slopes.

Found 15 cms of moist new snow atop a pencil hard wind board below 3000′ .  At 5000′ found 60 cms of moist/dry  storm snow that was slightly upside down atop a pencil hard wind board.  Pit results produced ECTN 15 and ECTP15 down 35 cms on a density change within the storm snow on two separate tests.  New snow/old interface was not reactive even though .5-1mm near surface facets existed beneath the 4/9 windboard.  At 6000′ 70 cms of storm snow was observed with the same snow density that was present at 5000′.
