General Observations

Observed innumerable wet loose avalanches size D-1 to D-2 on all aspects below 4500' from 46 mile to the Port.  Also noted a substantial amount of slab avalanches on all aspects, although more prevalent on NW-NE.  Slab avalanches were observed ranging in size from D1.5 to 2.5 on N. Tiekel East face, Happiness, Billy Mitchell, Three pigs South, 401/2 mile, Back it in, Nicks, Python and Odyssey. The list goes on traveling South… There was also avalanche mitigation work done by DOT that produced a D3 avalanche in snow slide gulch.
