General Observations

I went up to 54 mile and dug a pit at a very similar location as a pit I had dug on Feb 2, to compare results.   4800' West aspect on a broad ridge, nearly flat.  Found Buried Surface Hoar 35 cm's down.  Probably deeper down once you got off of the ridge.  Showing some signs of bonding and losing it's original shape, but still  lots of sharp edges and significant grain size" many up to 1 cm with some chaining up even larger".  On feb 2 had ECTP3 on this layer.  Yesterday had ECTP25, so gaining strength but still showing signs of propagation.
