General Observations

2/25- Port of Valdez west of Gold Creek up to 3700′.  E-SW aspects/ Clear / Calm

Found snow surface changing on solar aspects fairly rapidly during the day from dry to moist.  Widespread wet- loose point releases were observed from sea level to 4400′ on SE-SW aspect during the heat of the day.  Snow surface refroze late in the day forming a very thin crust on solar aspects except below 500′ were the snow remained moist.
