General Observations

1/4- Crudbusters up to 3500′.  -20F at the road , -10F at 3200′, Clear, Calm.  Shooting cracks: no, Collapsing: yes, Avalanches: no.  Surface Hoar was beginning to form. Snow surface was unaffected by wind

Pit results at 3200′, N aspest, 20° slope, HS 180cms, produced ECTP24 down 75cm and PST (30/100) End down 75cm. Both failed on 1-2mm developed facets at the 12/9 rain crust.

Results indicate this layer still has the energy to produce avalanches at this location.
