General Observations
5-mile creek area: New storm snow is right-side up and appears to be well bonded. As we ventured above treeline however, felt some areas of slabby wind-affected snow. Also observed notable hollowness/punchy-ness about 1 meter deep, apparently old facets above the old rain crust. Stability felt good in many areas below treeline but we were wary of wind slabs above treeline. Tons of new snow. If an avalanche were to happen, the consequences would be quite bad.
