General Observations

Drove through the Haines Pass this evening around 8pm. Not snowing north of the summit, no new snow at Nadahini. From the summit southward it was snowing lightly, becoming moderate-heavy snowfall near 5-mile creek / customs. Southeast winds were moderate-strong above 3000ft with observed blowing / drifting snow. Wind became calm / light NW as I descended into the cold-air inversion of the Klehini Valley below 2500ft.
