General Observations

Mumfords: N aspect at 2300ft. 30F with a light freezing mist falling. Calm winds. New storm snow about 6″ deep was wet and sticky, on top of settled base from last storm. We did not see any danger signs on slopes up to 32-ish degrees in angle. New snow seemed to be sticking well to previous layers but we didn’t test this on steeper slopes. Significant melt-freeze crust at the surface was pencil-hard and 1cm thick. Skiing was OK. Fast but grabby. Happy to see a good base setting up in this area.
