General Observations
Aerial recon on the Transitional zone: avalanche activity from the thaw last week is confined to SE-S-SW aspects, between 2000-5000ft. Most of these wet slides were connected to or below areas of rocks/cliffs. Crown heights were around 30-60cm on average, with some breaking around 1m deep. This is all old activity but indicative of what to watch out for on any upcoming warm days.
Snow quality still looks alright on north aspects in wind-sheltered basins. But the sun has been hitting other aspects hard.
