General Observations
Aerial survey found areas of low-angle natural wind slab avalanches between 15-30cm thick, on a variety of slopes that were wind loaded or cross-loaded this week, but sheltered enough that NW/N winds couldn’t strip off the weak layer underneath. New slides appears to be running on a slick surface hoar layer. Some slides ran relatively far on slopes around 25 degrees in angle. Slides were all small (D1-D2).
