General Observations
Nadahini Left from Green Shack. High clouds, some low visibility, but mostly good lighting for making turns with great views. About 10-15 knts south wind, some blowing snow above the willows. Nice and calm in the brush. Plenty cold all day, no real snow fall, but accumulation/scour from blowing snow. Wind Slab. Snow depth was thin. Great snow for turns, wind scoured on the ridges with pockets of nice powder in the hollows. About 4-6 Inches of nice snow on top of a thin breakable crust. Awesome group-8 total! Splitboards, AT and Teles all made it out + a couple snow machines at Chuck Creek. Took a few laps but only went half way up the ridge due to wind. Definitely watch out for Wind Slab. Didn't dig a pit or any real avi tests. Traveling test didn't show any serious signs of weak layers or much propagation. Didn't see any natural avalanches, but then again I didn't look very hard.
