General Observations

Left the Rich at mile post 213.5 traveling along a trap line trail/gravel road with skis and skins to the base of a north facing slope strike 290 dip 35. I dug a simple column test pit, melt crust layers at 1 foot and at 2.5 feet, total depth about 4 feet with a foot of hoar frost at the base in brush. The layer at 1 foot depth failed at 7, after removing this layer i continued to work the column and it failed at 16 at the second melt crust layer. Location from Goolge Earth N 63 32 77 W 145 43 09.76 elev 2615. This was not stable enough for me I left and went home.
