General Observations
Dug a snowpit on the approach to Cracked Ice, below the glacier on a relevant aspect (N) we were planning to ski (30degrees) There was a buried wind slab layer 5cm thick buried 35cm down. Below that there was a layer of rounding facets 1mm large. Although we did see CT27 and CT30 (Q2), there was no fracture on the extended column test. The entire run had variable conditions including powder and windboard.
