General Observations

Ripinski @ Summit. 15 cm of blower cold smoke all the way to sea level. Settlement cracks within the storm snow existed on convexities. A R1D1 avalanche was observed near 2,000′ on a NE aspect around the top of Mumford’s. Attached photo is from an observed R3 D3 avalanche on the S aspect with a crown near 3,500′ on peak 3865. (This aspect is commonly referred to as S but the actual cardinal direction is SE.) Wide propagation at the apron of this slope that broke just underneath very prominent features- a trend that we have been seeing the last couple days from other avalanches around the area.
