General Observations

Mumford’s @ 2,200′. Dug a quick pit on a 15 degree N aspect with a total snow depth of 240cm. Meanwhile, 10 cm of fresh low density, “high floof” snow had fallen and was continuing at a rate of 2 cm an hour. Found what is likely an October rain crust at 90cm, with 140cm of 1F to F snow on top. Observations and propagation propensity on this layer are still limited and will continue to be monitored.
