General Observations

Mumford’s- Overnight and morning rain made for a saturated and heavy skin from sea level to ~750′. The rain also contributed to an overhead hazard of large chunks of dense snow falling from trees. Above 1000′ fresh, wet snow was falling at a consistent rate of S4 (4 cm an hour).   At 1800’/NE aspect/25 degree slope, observed a 1cm brittle melt/freeze crust 45 cm down from 11/25. ECTP14 down 45 cm
