General Observations
Traveled up to 2700ft. Extremely firm snow with 2cm fresh snow on top (just enough to hold an edge!) Overcast, light snow (S-1), snow depth 300 cm, signs of previous wind effect from the north, and was actively blowing lightly from the south. Some potential faceting below a crust down 6 cm from surface. A hollow layer 20 cm down, 4F hardness between P layers. 4F layer was 2 cm thick. This layer produced a slightly Styrofoam feeling as it compressed during travel. Skiing was fast and felt like a groomer run. Very challenging skiing below 1300 ft, transitioned to booting down from ~800 ft.
