General Observations
Near Glacier Creek: 1953′, S aspect, 35 degree slope. 140cm snowpack depth, cloudy skies, no wind. Three distinct thin rain crust layers observed in top 10cm, rest of snowpack below was solid and did not break under compression tests. Several point-release natural slides were visible at higher elevation (2500’+) and 45 degree+ slope angles.
