General Observations

Transitional zone.  Found 3-6 ft snow depth around 4000’.  Dug a couple pits with no results and no layer of concern besides a easy wind slab ankle deep.  Skied NE aspect with enjoyable surface conditions.  Noted decent cornice development over N facing bowl that had previously shed and moved some snow and chunks of cornice to the base of the bowl.
