Alaska Snow Safety Summit

summit-flyerWe are closing in on the 9th annual Alaska Snow Safety Summit, at least the 9th our Executive Director has been involved with helping to organize. The first was held at Kincaid Park in Anchorage in 2007 and attracted dozens of practitioners willing and eager to share their message on how to avoid getting buried in an avalanche. But the big question surfaced, ‘How to work together in a collaborative environment for the benefit of all Alaskans.’

This year’s summit has a lot to celebrate and plenty of opportunity to learn and share from our past missteps. Please join us to identify our successes and plot forward for another collaborative and comprehensive season.
