Weather

From the 17th through the 27th, we received 7.5 inches of water. The freezing line began at 1000 feet but quickly rose above the peaks. Several avalanches occurred during this time, with some very large. The snowpack has since had ample time to drain and adjust.

Weather models are struggling with the details, though expect some light precipitation through the week. This will probably be a mix of snow and rain at sea level. Our remaining snowpack has been well tested, so the avalanche hazard should remain the same until we get significant new snow.
