We received 1.5 inches of water Tuesday through Wednesday. The freezing line fluctuated between sea level and 2000 feet, with moderate wind loading western aspects. This translated into over a foot of snow in the upper mountains. Observations have been limited, though some avalanche activity probably occurred. Weather dried and cooled overnight, promoting snow stability.

At this time, confidence remains low with the weather details. We may see more precipitation and we may see sunshine. Overall conditions look to dry out and get colder, with northerly outflow winds increasing. Sunshine and warm daytime temperatures may cause avalanche activity in the afternoons.
