Saturday brought an inch and a half of water. This translated into a foot and a half of new snow at mid mountain and above. Strong winds loaded western aspects and some avalanche activity occurred in the upper mountains. Dry calm weather has since promoted snow stability.

Expect continuing mild weather through Tuesday. Models suggest another storm bringing 3 inches of water Wednesday into Friday. The avalanche hazard will probably increase then.
