Weather

We received 6 inches of water last week. The freezing line began above our local peaks and then fluctuated down to sea level. This translated into a foot of snow at sea level and 4 – 5 feet above 1500 feet. Moderate to strong winds loaded western aspects. Observations have been limited, though some avalanche activity occurred.

Expect dry cold conditions through Tuesday. North winds may move snow and the avalanche hazard towards southern slopes. Otherwise, stability should increase through Tuesday.
