Degrees of Avalanche Danger

Weather

We received about 3 inches of water Wednesday through Friday, with the freezing line above our local peaks. Observations have been limited, though some avalanche activity probably occurred above tree line. Dry and cooling conditions Saturday have allowed the snow pack to drain and refreeze.

Expect the break in the weather to end Sunday night. Monday and Tuesday look to bring more warm and wet. The avalanche hazard may increase then.
