Weather

Our weather pattern looks to get busy tonight into Wednesday. Models suggest 2 to 3 inches of water that could translate into 2 to 3 feet of snow in the upper mountains. Increasing temperatures may cause a mix of snow and rain at sea level. Moderate to strong winds will load western aspects. Dense new snow over our dry loose snow will create an unstable, top heavy snowpack. The hazard may increase quickly overnight with significant rapid new snow accumulation and warming temperatures Tuesday.
