Degrees of Avalanche Danger

Weather

The last two days brought dry weather and decreasing temperatures allowing the snowpack to refreeze and stabilize. No significant weak layers have been observed. Dry and cold will continue through Wednesday. Models suggest a quarter inch of water Thursday with the freezing line at sea level. This is not expected to affect the avalanche hazard. Conditions look to be dry after that into the weekend, though time will tell.
